Specific Need
- Continue to support our five Scholarships given annually. Possibly offer six Scholarships or increase the current amount of the Scholarships we award
- Increase our operating budget to allow us to purchase more items for NRH needs in various areas (ex. Staxi Chairs, supplies for our quiet areas, furniture)
- Expand our current Donations for items we contribute to Diabetes Fair, Teddy Bear Clinic, treats for the staff, Care Coordination, New Year’s Baby, Pets for Peds, stuffed animals to the lab, CDU, ED, Same Day Surgery and a Denim and Diamonds silent auction basket.
Mission
The Auxiliary of Newman Regional Health was established in 1955 to develop and maintain a volunteer staff to offer supportive services to patients, families, visitors and our community. It is now titled as Newman Regional Health Volunteers.

At the forefront of our organization is the quality dedication our volunteers exhibit. We are committed to delivering a range of comprehensive services. We value growth within our organization to meet the specific changing needs of our community.
We also seek to answer questions anyone may have about the hospital or our organization. We take pride in comforting those that come in for emergencies, supplying stuffed animals for children who come in for various medical issues, provide blanket warmers and waiting areas with comfortable furniture and reading material.

- Our organization operates totally on Volunteer hours

- We try and find creative ways to raise and manage our money/budget
- We have a positive impact on the hospital environment and community
- We help with emergency situations
- We conduct at least two Service Projects each year
- We help purchase facility equipment and supplies
- We award five Scholarships each year to students from a 6-county area to assist them in pursuing their education in the health care field
